HypermobilO-T
The aim of Occupational Therapy is to help you to engage in your day to day activities in the best possible way. People with hypermobility conditions often have physical challenges when engaging with the environment and the activities they need or would like to do. Michelle is able to provide an assessment of these activities and environments, provide recommendations and therapy if necessary to help you maximise your independence in every day life. Michelle offers both home based and clinic based assessment and therapy sessions according to your needs and location. Working closely with The Sports Medicine Centre doctors and The Sports Physio Clinic physiotherapists, Michelle is also able to provide case management and encourage a team approach to therapy & rehabilitation. Michelle is registered with Medicare for you to use the Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Program as well as providing services under the Better Access to Mental Health Care program. You require a specific referral from your GP or Paediatrician under one of these programs to claim a Medicare rebate. Michelle is also registered with private health funds.
