Orthopaedic Surgeon - Foot & Ankle
He is a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He has presented at national and international conferences and he has published in both national and international journals. He has particular expertise in sports related injuries of the foot and ankle including the latest techniques in arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery and cartilage transplantation in the ankle. His other clinical interests include reconstructive surgery for arthritis (including ankle replacement surgery), tendon disorders of the foot and ankle and correction of bunions. His practice includes management of sports injuries in players of first grade National Rugby League, Australian Football League and athletes at the New South Wales Institute of Sport. Dr Lam combines the latest techniques in reconstructive surgery and rapid rehabilitation to allow a rapid and timely return to sport and work. |
