Orthopaedic Surgeon - Shoulder & Upper Limb
Dr Sherlock graduated in Medicine and Surgery at Sydney University, and completed his Orthopaedic training in Sydney on the Australian Orthopaedic Training Programme. Following this, Dr Sherlock spent eighteen months completing Fellowships in Arthroscopic and Reconstructive surgery of the Shoulder/Elbow and Knee in Canberra, and as the Arthroscopy Fellow at the University of Alberta, Canada. During this period, he also gained experience working with the pioneers of modern shoulder joint replacement in Nice and Lyon, France. Dr Sherlock holds appointments at the Mater Misericordae Private Hospital in Crows Nest, the Sydney Adventist Hospital (SAN) in Wahroonga, Delmar Private Hospital in Dee Why and Mona Vale Public Hospital. As well as consulting in the Narrabeen Sports Medicine Centre, he also has offices in Dee Why, the Mater and SAN Clinics. He has a particular interest in sports injuries and has worked as the team doctor for the Waratah Academy, Warringah and Gordon rugby clubs.
